The main way in is the form below. It lands in our inbox, which we treat with the same care other people save for a filing cabinet they’ve promised the authorities they’ll keep tidy. Legal and data-protection post can also go to the email address published on the Legal Notice; everything else, use the form. We read every submission. We reply to everything that isn’t, on inspection, a machine pretending to be a person. Whatever you are writing about, be specific: a precise message gets a precise answer, and a vague one gets a slower, vaguer reply.
What to write to us about
- Spot an error? This is the most valuable category of message we receive, and we mean that in the literal, ledger-keeping sense. Prices, rules, rates, tax years, pension allowances: we date every article and we update it when the facts move, but facts move quietly and sometimes without telling us. State what’s wrong, state where you saw it, and state where you believe the correct figure lives. When a correction lands, we fix the article and update its last-reviewed date, so the page reflects reality rather than our first attempt at it.
- Got a topic you want covered? Reader suggestions drive a meaningful share of the editorial calendar. “Please explain X” is a valid submission. So is “you have written around X for some time now and have conspicuously failed to answer Y.”
- Partnership enquiry? If you run a publisher, an educational institution, or a regulatory-adjacent organisation, and there is a genuine content or citation overlap, we are interested in hearing about it. Advertising enquiries travel the same road. Simply declare yourself in the subject line, like a customs form.
- General enquiry? Anything else at all. Questions, feedback, kind words, unkind words, the lot. We accept submissions in every register.
What the form is not for
- Personal financial advice. Money Owl does not provide financial advice. We publish general information only, and we can’t tell you “what should I do with my €40,000” through a contact form, because that would be personalised advice, which is precisely the thing we do not provide. The full position is set out in the editorial disclaimer; please read the Terms of Use.
- Urgent or time-critical matters. We’re an editorial site, not a service that operates around the clock. If you require an answer within the hour, you’ve arrived at the wrong surface, and we say so without offence taken or offence intended.
- Bulk pitches or SEO link-building. Anything that opens with “hi dear webmaster” is filed, with great efficiency, in the bin.
